Every Christmas season, the Philippine Cut Flower Corporation (PCFC) makes sure that at least a day is spent to delight the children of Brgy. Buck Estate, Alfonso, Cavite. This is one of the organization’s ways to show how grateful it is to the community it belongs to.

The company held a Christmas party for 300 children of Brgy. Buck Estate last December 15, 2007. The employees, together with Arnold Andaya, Vice President of PCFC, and Dustin Andaya, Marketing Director of Island Rose, spearheaded the event bringing joy to the children and taking part in celebrating the barangay’s Yuletide season. Barangay officials and the members of its Sangguniang Kabataan helped in coordinating and organizing the event. After Engr. Francis Librando, PCFC’s farm manager, briefly welcomed the guests, the barangay’s captain acknowledged the company for its support and kindness for the community. The PCFC staff prepared a lot of parlor games and prizes, which the kids and their mothers enjoyed. As part of the program, some children showed off their talents in singing and dancing. The organizers prepared some snacks and refreshments regaining the kids to enjoy the games. Arnold Andaya expressed his heartfelt gratitude to the people behind the event and looking forward to the next year.
