A study on Island Rose, spearheaded a sought-after journal, Plaridel published last February 2008. In Bloom: Online: An Exploratory Study on Philippine Cut Flower Corporation’s http://islandrose.net is a research conducted by some Communication Majors in the University of the Philippines which focused on the company’s adoption of technology in order to advance from wholesale basis to online retail through its website.

The biannual journal is released by the University of the Philippine College of Mass Communication (UP CMC). Articles included in the journal tackled issues concerning new media and communication for businesses.
